National Career Readiness Certificate
Results from the ACT WorkKeys components of the Michigan Merit Examination will arrive home with Crestwood High School Junior (11th grade) Report Cards. As a result of their participation in the Spring MME, students took the three WorkKeys components needed to qualify for a National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC). Students qualified for the NCRC if they earned a score of 3 or higher on each of these three components: Reading for Information, Applied Mathematics, and Locating Information.
To obtain a paper copy of the National Career Readiness Certificate is free and easy to do. There is NO FEE for students who qualify for the certificate and choose to log in through
National Career Readiness Certificate Website to register their eligibility. By registering, the qualifying student receives a FREE verifiable certificate number that can be included on resumes or presented to potential employers.
Although students who log in and register will be presented an opportunity to purchase a paper certificate and/or a WorkKeys transcript, it is not necessary to make this purchase. The state has asked that the school, “Please communicate this fact to students before they begin the NCRC registration process.”
More information regarding the NCRC is available online at
National Career Readiness Certificate Website.
Please see these important instructions. There are a few important pieces of information required to activate your certificate.
