PBS (Positive Behavior Support)
PBS stands for Positive Behavior Support. It is a program designed to teach respect, responsibility, and safety at school. We at CHS hope to encourage students to continuously make good behavioral choices by implementing this program. PBS provides teachers and other school staff with information to help prevent behavior problems and help make school a save learning environment. Research shows that the use of PBS in school has resulted in increased time for instruction. In addition, it increases positive behaviors school wide, therefore decreasing disruptive behaviors.
