🌟 Incredible Milestone Achieved! 🌟
Today was a remarkable day at Crestwood High School as we celebrated the next big step for two of our outstanding student athletes. In a heartfelt ceremony held in the school cafeteria, family, friends, and faculty gathered to witness the signing of:
🏈 Hassan Bazzi to Madonna University for football
🏀 LaChelle Moreland-Jones to Lawrence Technological University for basketball
Their dedication, hard work, and perseverance have led them to this moment, and we couldn’t be prouder. Congratulations to Hassan and LaChelle on their well-deserved success. We are excited to see all that you will achieve in your collegiate sports careers and beyond!
Thank you to everyone who came out to support these incredible athletes. Go Chargers!

Attention Crestwood School District community! We want to remind everyone that there will be school on Monday, April 8th. It’s not just a regular school day; it’s also an extraordinary opportunity for our students and staff to experience a solar eclipse!
Solar Eclipse Safety Information:
To ensure everyone’s safety during this rare event, we will provide certified safe solar eclipse viewing glasses to all students and staff. It’s crucial to use these glasses while observing the eclipse, as looking at the sun without proper protection can cause serious eye damage.
Please discuss with your students the importance of using these glasses and the dangers of looking at the sun unprotected. Remember, regular sunglasses are not sufficient to protect your eyes during a solar eclipse.
Let’s make this a safe and educational experience for our entire school community! See you on Monday, April 8th, for an exciting day of learning and discovery.

Dear Crestwood School District Families,
We would like to inform you about an important update to our April 2024 calendar:
Monday, April 8th: School will be open. All students are expected to attend.
However, there will be no school for students on the following days:
Tuesday, April 9th
Wednesday, April 10th
Thursday, April 11th
Friday, April 12th
This adjustment is due to the observance of Eid Al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan. In our calendar planning, we predicted the holiday, but we need to extend the break by one day to accommodate the actual observance. As a result, we will now have a four-day break from April 9th to 12th.
Please mark your calendars accordingly and plan for your child's attendance on Monday, April 8th. Full attendance is crucial on this day to maintain our required number of school days. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
