Attention Crestwood School District community! We want to remind everyone that there will be school on Monday, April 8th. It’s not just a regular school day; it’s also an extraordinary opportunity for our students and staff to experience a solar eclipse!
Solar Eclipse Safety Information:
To ensure everyone’s safety during this rare event, we will provide certified safe solar eclipse viewing glasses to all students and staff. It’s crucial to use these glasses while observing the eclipse, as looking at the sun without proper protection can cause serious eye damage.
Please discuss with your students the importance of using these glasses and the dangers of looking at the sun unprotected. Remember, regular sunglasses are not sufficient to protect your eyes during a solar eclipse.
Let’s make this a safe and educational experience for our entire school community! See you on Monday, April 8th, for an exciting day of learning and discovery.
